Robert W.
Pratt
director
general
Beginning in 1984
as a salesman for a small personal computer dealer in Texas, Robert
learned very quickly that nothing good happens in a business until
someone sells something - at a sufficient margin!
Within a year of starting in business, Robert took stock
ownership in the company for which he was selling. The stock had a
negative value as the company was in debt and thus, began a very long
but highly instructive set of experience.
Robert then lead the closing of the firm's retail operations and
was instrumental in steering the company in a completely new
direction of business-to-business technology services. Years and expansion
cities later, the firm was among the largest of its kind in the Southwest U.S.
and Northern Mexico. And through a unique twist of marketing, Robert ended up
having most of the firm's largest competitors as its largest paying customers!
From a two person operation in 1984 to a large small-business, Robert
developed expertise in almost every aspect of business growth and has learned
where the trouble spots often appear.
As head of marketing, Robert learned that in a small business,
advertising and promotion has to pay back quickly or no one gets paid.
Believing that many ad agencies and larger businesses conduct marketing
and advertising by simply throwing dollars in the air and hoping they stick to a
customer, Robert understand that this is not only a bad approach but one that
small-businesses simply cannot afford.
Along with helping his firm to grow, Robert found himself assisting his
firm's clientele with everything from their marketing and sales activities to
showing them how to train service staff to effectively deal with customers and
vendors.
In 1995, Robert decided that it was time to do what he enjoyed most on a
full-time basis - helping others to realize their dreams and aspirations by
assisting them in the founding, operating and marketing of their companies and
organizations.
Now, this isn't done through motivational speaking or other
hard-to-measure service. Instead, Robert actually gets involved in a clients
business and actually performs work related to the area where help is most
needed.
Each situation is different and each client's needs require a different
approach. Thus, pricing of IRP's services are negotiated on a case by case
basis. Additionally, where appropriate, IRP's fees are based upon results
achieved!
From helping a small business determine where the market for its
goods and services really lie to helping with the creation and execution of all
marketing, IRP and Robert Pratt can be the critical difference between success
and failure.
For firms already enjoying a steady revenue stream, IRP and Robert Pratt
can help improve operations efficiency and cut costs dramatically. Not only
will IRP help to make work flows more efficient, IRP will work with your vendors
to cut the costs of services and goods you must buy from others. Click here for
examples of this type of unique work.
